Long Overdue Thrifty Thursday

Ohmygoodness, y'all! I've had this compilation of a thrifty haul for over a month now. I haven't had a real thrift day since March because I'm a responsible person like that! But, somehow I've failed to share this little video and haul. Pardon the tardiness. The video shows my thrifty finds from February and March, but here's a little picture peek at a few of them.
This is my favorite and first thing I share in the video: a beautiful floral tin with buttons and other notions.

There were also a few other tins picked up. I can't believe these are the last ones I bought - over three months ago!

Wait until you hear about the deal I got on three of these books. It was insane!

And, I'm always up for a deep discount clearance item. Because of HL's stance and actions during the shut-downs, I'm not sure I'll ever pay regular price for something in their stores again.

So, want all the details on the deals I got, even if it's a bit late? Here's my video on Thrift Hauls From February and March.

As for thrifting lately...I've picked up a couple interesting items at the Dollar Tree and made a quick loop through Goodwill a couple of days ago, but that's been the extent of it. And, that was all done while either picking up a necessity or dropping off donations and while wearing a mask. So, I feel slightly justified. Like I said, I'm TRYING to be responsible. I hope you're staying safe out there. And, how are you filling that hole where thrifting used to be?

    1. Thanks Mary! I've got a bit of a tin overload right now. I keep collecting them but haven't been using them as much as I buy them. That needs to change real soon. Thanks for the encouragement!

    1. Oh, Ann, I'm so glad you considered this a treat! It took me forever to get the video uploaded then kept forgetting about it or pushing it aside for something else. But, I hate to waste a perfectly good haul video! Ha!

  3. I love that water coloured-florals tin and can't wait to see what you'll make with it. its lid looks like an art piece by itself. The flowers on the blue tin can be cut and layered to create beautiful pendants. I am sure you'll make a lot of goodies out of these tins. I have done zero shopping on the design/craft/jewellery front in 2 months because of the lockdown. Now that the stores are slowly opening I might start sourcing soon.

    1. Divya, I really lucked up with some of those tins. Though, I have so many now, I'll have to be a little more particular going forward. I haven't done much shopping either and have instead shopped my stash of late. It's probably what I've been needing to do rather than running out for what I think I need. Limitations often produce the most creativity!

  4. That watercolor floral tin is gorgeous! The stores here are open now but I've been out shopping for jewelry wire and findings only twice. I'm trying to stay safe and be responsible. I've noticed that most of the jewelry making supplies are gone and there are no new deliveries. I hope everything gets back to normal before I go out of wire :)
