I made it out shopping again yesterday and was much more successful!!
Spotted amongst the piles of miscellaneous junk in one 'antique' shop were two 4-foot tall stacks of these babies!
I ended up only buying two, but I can't wait to figure out how to work them into the craft room!!
The owner lady was a bit odd when I brought up this little handful of goodies I found in my digging, but I still think she gave me a good deal.
In addition, a trip to the bead store was in order!
I fell a little more fulfilled now that I have a few more items to fill my space!

Great finds !
ReplyDeleteLove the printers drawers. I have one and when my children were little, they were stored with all sorts of little treasures. At the moment it is empty waiting for me to organise and display art beads in them. Great finds!

Those are really great finds! I haven't been to a thrift store in forever. Okay a couple of months. LOL We just moved into a smaller house so I've been trying to figure out how to make the stuff we have work. Because any little thing that is out makes it feel like a huge mess is scattered everywhere.
ReplyDeleteWonderful finds! I especially like the hardware.
ReplyDeleteTsoniki,
ReplyDeleteThanks I was really lucky! I can understand trying to get it all to fit. I struggle with that all the time. Perhaps I should stop the shopping as well!!!! ;)
A successful shop for sure! I have two of those type trays myself and LOVE them. I have one over my desk and one in the living room.
ReplyDeleteI hung them up empty and they just sorta got filled with little bits I love! ;)
Cheers!
La Alicia,
ReplyDeleteHanging them is an interesting idea. I was just thinking about filling them with beads. I don't think I can do that if they're vertical. . .Hmmmmm. I definitely need to research all the different ways people have used them to get some ideas!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Love those finds! I have had similar looks from vendors of odd bits and bobs, too- but oh well! Can't wait to see what you do with these!
ReplyDeleteI don't care if I would have to totally reorganize my studio, several of those printer's drawers would have been coming home with me. Neat find.
